How to configure DHCP Interface Relay on L2 Managed switches using T1600G-52TS

To configure DHCP Interface Relay on TP-Link L2 Managed Switch T1600G-52TS, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the switch's web interface using a web browser and enter the username and password.

  2. Click on "Advanced" and then "DHCP Interface Relay" in the left menu.

  3. Enable the "DHCP Interface Relay" function by selecting "Enable" under the "Global Settings" section.

  4. Under the "IP Configuration" section, enter the IP address and subnet mask for the DHCP relay interface.

  5. Under the "DHCP Server Configuration" section, select the DHCP server interface from the drop-down menu.

  6. Click on "Apply" to save the settings.

  7. To configure the DHCP relay for specific VLANs, click on "VLAN Configuration" in the left menu.

  8. Select the VLAN you want to configure from the VLAN list.

  9. Under the "IP Configuration" section, enter the IP address of the DHCP server and the subnet mask.

  10. Under the "DHCP Relay Configuration" section, select the DHCP relay interface from the drop-down menu.

  11. Click on "Apply" to save the settings.

  12. Repeat steps 7-11 for all the VLANs you want to configure.

  13. Click on "Save" to save the changes.

  14. Verify that DHCP Interface Relay is working by checking the DHCP server logs. You should see the DHCP requests and responses from the clients connected to the VLANs you configured.

  15. Save the configuration to the switch's memory by clicking on "Save" in the top right corner.
