To set up a Mobile Hotspot or Soft AP on Windows 10 and Windows 11, follow these steps:
Click on the "Start" button and go to "Settings".
Select "Network & Internet".
Click on "Mobile hotspot" in the left pane.
Turn on the "Share my Internet connection with other devices" toggle switch.
Select the network connection that you want to share from the "Share my Internet connection from" drop-down list.
Configure the network by specifying a network name and password.
Click "Edit" to modify the settings if necessary.
Click "Save" to apply the changes and turn on the hotspot.
Note: Make sure that your computer has a wireless network adapter and that it is enabled. Also, be aware that using your computer as a hotspot may consume more battery power and data usage than usual, so use it only when necessary.
