NC

To configure access control on the TD-W9960 router, follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and type the default IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address for the TD-W9960 is usually 192.168.1.1.

  2. Enter your login credentials to access the router settings. The default username and password are usually "admin" and "admin" respectively, but may vary depending on the router's firmware version.

  3. Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Access Control" menu in the router settings.

  4. Look for the "Basic Settings" option and click on it.

  5. Click the "Enable" checkbox to enable access control.

  6. Choose the access control mode: "Allow List" or "Deny List".

  7. If you choose "Allow List", only devices on the list will be allowed to access the network. If you choose "Deny List", devices on the list will be blocked from accessing the network.

  8. Click "Add New" to add a new device to the list.

  9. Enter the device's MAC address and choose the access policy: "Allow" or "Deny".

  10. Click "Save" to save the access control settings.

  11. If you want to apply access control to specific days and times, you can configure the "Time Management" settings in the "Access Control" menu.

  12. In the "Time Management" section, you can specify the days and times when access control should be applied.

  13. Click "Save" to save the time management settings.

Once you've completed these steps, the TD-W9960 router will apply access control to the devices on the network according to the settings you specified. Devices that are not on the allow list or are on the deny list will be blocked from accessing the network. The time management settings will ensure that access control is only applied during the specified days and times.
