How to configure Guest Network on TL-WR902AC

NC

To configure a guest network on the TP-Link TL-WR902AC router in wireless router or hotspot router mode, please follow these steps:

Connect your computer or mobile device to the TL-WR902AC router's network either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

Open a web browser and go to the router's default IP address http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1.

Enter the login credentials. The default username and password are both "admin".

Once logged in, go to the "Wireless" section and select "Wireless Settings".

In the "Wireless Settings" page, click on the "Guest Network" tab.

Enable the "Guest Network" option and configure the following settings:

  • Network Name (SSID): Give a name for the guest network that is different from your main network.

  • Security: Select "WPA/WPA2 - Personal" as the security type, and choose a strong password for the guest network.

  • Click "Save" to apply the settings.

You can also configure additional settings such as "Access Control", "Bandwidth Control", and "Advanced" options to further customize the guest network.

Once you have completed the settings, click "Save" and exit the router's configuration interface.

Your guest network should now be set up and ready to use. Guests can connect to the guest network using the SSID and password you configured in step 6. Note that the guest network will be isolated from your main network and cannot access devices on your main network.
