To create a static route on the TD-W9960 modem router, follow these steps:
Log in to the router: Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the router into the address bar. Log in to the web interface using your administrator credentials.
Navigate to the static route settings: In the web interface, go to "Advanced Setup" > "Routing" > "Static Route" to access the static route settings.
Click the "Add" button: Click the "Add" button to create a new static route.
Enter the route information: In the "Destination IP Address" field, enter the IP address of the network or device that you want to route traffic to. In the "Subnet Mask" field, enter the subnet mask of the network. In the "Gateway IP Address" field, enter the IP address of the router or gateway that is connected to the destination network.
Select the interface: In the "Interface" field, select the interface that you want to use for the static route. You can choose from the available WAN and LAN interfaces.
Enable the static route: Check the "Enable" checkbox to enable the static route.
Click "Save": Click the "Save" button to save the static route.
After you have created the static route, the router will forward traffic to the specified network or device through the specified interface. You can create multiple static routes to route traffic to different networks or devices. It's important to configure static routes correctly to ensure that traffic is properly routed and network connectivity is maintained.
