To reserve LAN IP addresses on the TD-W9970 modem router, follow these steps:
Connect to the modem router: Connect your computer to the modem router either via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
Access the router settings: Open your web browser and enter the IP address of the router into the address bar. Log in to the web interface using your administrator credentials.
Navigate to the DHCP settings: In the web interface, go to "Advanced Setup" > "LAN DHCP Server" to access the DHCP settings.
Reserve the IP address: In the "LAN DHCP Server" page, scroll down to the "Address Reservation" section and click "Add New". Enter the MAC address and IP address of the device that you want to reserve the IP address for.
Save your settings: Once you have configured the address reservation, click "Save" to apply the changes to the router.
With IP address reservation set up, the router will always assign the same IP address to the reserved device. This can be useful for devices that require a fixed IP address for remote access or for networked devices that need to be accessed consistently from other devices on the network.
